Travel Phoenix Oregon is an official Destination Management Organization, as recognized by the City of Phoenix. The Travel Phoenix Oregon brand and related assets are owned by the Phoenix Oregon Chamber of Commerce.

Travel Phoenix Oregon was founded in 2019 by Will and Julie Volpert of Indigo Creek Outfitters. At the time, Phoenix did not have a Chamber of Commerce and the intent of creating Travel Phoenix Oregon was to build a network of trusted visitor-facing businesses and organizations. In 2021, Travel Phoenix Oregon was recognized by the City of Phoenix as an official Destination Management Organization.

The Almeda Fire of 2020 exposed the need for an organization to represent the interests of all small businesses in Phoenix. On November 18, 2022, a meeting was held to discuss the creation of a Chamber of Commerce with a start-up team consisting of Will Volpert, Julie Volpert, Carolyna Marshall, Rebecca Scott, and City Councilor Jim Snyder. On December 30, 2022, by-laws were adopted and the organization became an official 501(c)(6). The first elected Board of Directors consisted of Henry Cislo (Leave Your Mark), Lisa Dunagan (The Shoppes at Exit 24), Carolyna Marshall (1st Phoenix Community Center), Courtney Tacchini (Tacchini Agency), and Will Volpert (Indigo Creek Outfitters). 

The Volperts donated ownership of Travel Phoenix Oregon, and all related assets, to the Phoenix Oregon Chamber of Commerce in February of 2026.
